Fresno EOC’s Central Valley Against Human Trafficking

About Fresno EOC’s Central Valley Against Human Trafficking project: Since 2009, Fresno EOC’s Central Valley Against Human Trafficking (CVAHT) project has identified over 186 victims of human trafficking with the youngest being 12 years old. The CVAHT project is administered under Fresno EOC’s Sanctuary and Youth Services program which is committed to providing awareness, training, technical assistance, and advocacy about human trafficking and trafficking-related issues. Through Sanctuary and Youth Services’ other projects; emergency shelter, transitional housing, case management, transportation, referrals, and other assistance is provided to victims of all forms of human trafficking. CVAHT partners also provide other forms of assistance to trafficking victims serving immigrants and those impacted by domestic violence throughout a 6-county region in the Central Valley. Central Valley Freedom Coalition – a coalition of federal and local law enforcement, service providers, victim advocates, faith-based organizations, and concerned citizens dedicated to working together to address the critical issue of Human Trafficking in the Central Valley of California. -Through advocacy, partnership and direct service, our mission is to abolish all forms of human trafficking and free victims from the grip of slavery. .
